Babita Gupta
California State University Monterey Bay
Babita Gupta is a Professor of Information Systems in the School of Business
at California State University Monterey Bay.
She teaches courses in electronic commerce, information technology
strategies, database management, and computer information systems. Her research
interests are in biometrics, online consumer behavior, online security and
privacy, e-government and information technology outsourcing. She has published
in Communications of the ACM, Industrial Management and Data Systems,
Information Technology Cases and Applications, Computing and Information
Technology, Scientific and Industrial Research and the Internet Encyclopedia.
She is also serving as a board member of the California Coastal Rural
Development Corporation.
